Just Add Ink have a Sketch Challenge this week.  When I first looked at the sketch it reminded me of a cabinet and I used this idea as my theme for my card.

Stamps: Well Scripted
Paper:  Basic Black, Regal Rose, Holiday Treasures DSP (retired)
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories:  Large Scallop Oval Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Owl Punch for small circles, Itty Bitty Flower Punch, Red Pearls, Fleur De Lys die, thin black elastic and foam pads. 

I started with a piece of black cardstock that was 29cm x 12cm.  I scored the card at 11cm and 25.5 cm mark. I used the Decorative Label Punch for the middle of the larger section of the card to form the legs of the cabinet.  On the smaller section, I used the Large Scallop Oval Punch.  I then added layers of Regal Rose cardstock and Holiday Treasure DSP.  I made two black frames to lay over the Holiday Treasure DSP, so as to highlight the doors.  I then added black itty bitty flowers with red pearls in the centre.  To make the handles, I used two fleur de lys to which I added red pearls and foam pad to raise them.  Inside the card I added the birthday sentiment from the Well Scripted stamp set and some more Itty Bitty Flowers.

Clean and Simple have a new sketch this week. 

Stamps: Well Scripted

Paper: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Nature’s Walk DSP
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Itty Bitty Punches, Spellbinder Fleur De Lis, Square Embossing folder, butterfly punch, basic pearls, Owl Punch

I started with a base card of crumb cake that is 13cm x 13cm. I then added a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock.  With the Fleur De Lis Die I cut out a Fleur De Lis circle and 3 small Fleur De Lis squares.  I embossed the Fleur De Lis circle and squares with the Lattice Square embossing folder.  I adhered the Fleur De Lis embossed circle to the base card.  I then added a layer of Old Olive and Nature’s Walk DSP.  Next, I adhered the three Fleur De Lis squares and then added 3 Old Olive butterflies.  I stamped the birthday sentiment from Well Scripted and then added 4 circles that I had punched out using the Owl Punch.  To finish off the card, I added small pearls and two flowers that I had punched out with the Itty Bitty Punch.  The centre of the flowers are the small circles from the Owl Punch.

Just Add Ink have a Theme Challenge this week.  The theme is tearing/distressing.

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, Sand (non SU), Autumn Spice DSP (retired)
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories:  Owl Punch (for small heart), I heart heart punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Itty Bitty Flower Punch, Itty Bitty Buttons, Twine, Ovals Die, Glue Dots, Frost White Shimmer Paint, Paper Piercer, Sponge, Piercing Mat and Template

I started with a piece of Always Artichoke texture cardstock which I folded into a tri shutter fold card.  I decorated the card using Chocolate Chip cardstock, Texture Sand coloured cardstock and Autumn Spice DSP.  On the chocolate chip panels in the centre and on the 2nd and 4th fold of the card, I distressed the edges using my thumb nail.  I then sponged the outer edges with Chocolate Chip ink and added Chocolate Chip hearts to 2nd and 4th fold.  In the centre I added the sentiment ‘Congratulation’ from the Well Scripted stampset.  I tore around the sentiment and them sponged the outer edges using Chocolate Chip ink. I adhered the sentiment using dimensional.

I then created two outer panels in the centre of the card using Autumn Spice DSP and Sand Coloured textured cardstock.  I added twine, hearts and itty bitty heart buttons.  For the remaining panels I used Sand Coloured textured card stock with Autumn Spice DSP.  On the outer edges, I used the paper piercer, piercing  mat and template to pierce around the outer edges.  I also pierced the some of the flowers on the DSP on the 2nd and 4th fold.

For the front and the back of the card I added panels and then decorated the back panel with Chocolate Chip hearts that I crushed and manipulated until the cardstock separated to make two hearts.  On the front I adhered an oval sentiment that I stamped with the Little Hellos stamp set.  I coloured the icing on the cake with Frost White Shimmer paint.  I added a small Chocolate Chip heart to the top of the cake.  For the outer edge of the oval, I adhered the Scallop Trim Border that I had punched out using Chocolate Chip cardstock. 

I finished off the card by adding a flower that I made using the Boho Blossom punch, Itty Bitty flower punch and an itty bitty flower button.
