Just Add Ink have a new Sketch Challenge this week. For this challenge I decided to use the sketch to help me make a card for my husband’s nephew. I started with a base card made from Whisper White cardstock and then I trimmed and embossed a piece of Certain Celery cardstock which I adhered to the base card. Next, I embossed a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and adhered to the base. Next I trimmed some Chocolate Chip cardstock to make the large panel and the contrast strip and I trimmed a piece of Whisper White cardstock. With the Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the numbers from the Hodgepodge Happiness set. I used Pear Pizzaz ink and Chocolate Chip ink. I then adhered the Chocolate Chip contrast strip and the Chocolate Chip panel. Followed by the stamped Whisper White cardstock. Next, I punched out a 1 3/4″ Certain Celery Circle, 1 3/8″ Chocolate Chip Circle and a 1 1/4″ Whisper White circle and adhered them to the card using foam pads. I then used the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet sizzlit die to punch out the letter S to represent my nephew’s name, using Crumb Cake cardstock. I finished off by using the cropadile to punch out a series of circle that I adhered next to the ‘S’ and along the contrast strip.
