For this weeks Inkspirations Colour Challenge I thought I would do something a little different. Last week I bought some STAMP-ON-FABRIC paper from Denielle Bernauer and I thought I would use some of that paper and this week colour challenge to make a T-shirt for my eldest daughter. I started by selecting the Bliss stampset and the Organic Outlines stampset. From the Bliss stampset I stamped three butterflies using Rose Red and Garden Green (sorry I don’t have any Wild Wasabi ink) markers and So Saffron Ink. I stamped the images on to the STAMP-ON-FABRIC paper and then trimmed the images. I placed the images on to the T-shirt to form a row of Butterflies. I then stamped the Words Happy for you from the Organic Outlines stampset using a Rose Red marker. With stamping, I stamped it onto the flat side of the sheet of film that comes with the Stampamajig. I then press the Stampamajig sheet against the STAMP-ON-FABRIC paper and went over the stamped words with the marker to make sure the writing stood out. I trimmed around the writing and placed it under the butterflies. To adhered the stamped images to the T-shirt, I ironed then until they were set and peeled off the backing. With using the STAMP-ON-FABRIC it is always best to work on a test piece first as it allows you to understand who long you need to iron. Also remember to put a board under the fabric to make sure the image adheres evenly. This is really a simple process and lots of fun to do. I would like to thank my daughter Alex for modelling the T-shirt for her sister.
