The Play Date Cafe are combining their colour challenge with Case Study’s Inspiration Challenge. I thought it was a lovely idea to try and make a card that would fit both Challenges. I started with a base card made from Whisper White cardstock. I then added a layer of embossed Pear Pizzaz cardstock. I then use the Top Note die to cut a TopNote in Basic Black and in Whisper White cardstock. I trimmed the outer edge of the Whisper White Top Not and then stamped the Eiffel Tower from the Paris stamp set using Basic Black. I then embossed around the image of the Eiffel Tower using the Script embossing folder. I adhered the embossed Whisper White Top Note to the Basic Black Top Note and then adhered them to the base card. I then stamped flowers from the Vintage Vogue stamp set, using Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzaz and Basic Black ink. Using a pair of paper snips, I trimmed the stamped flowers and adhered to the left and bottom of the stamped Eiffel Tower. I stamped the bird and paris mark from the Paris stamp set and the Birthday sentiment from the SAB So Happy For You stamp set. To finish off the card, I trimmed them and adhered them to the base card. Dont forget to join in the fun at Case Study and Play Date Cafe.
