Just Add Ink have an Inspiration challenge this week. For this challenge I used the flower as my inspiration. I started with a base card made from Blushing Bride. I then trimmed a piece of Whisper white cardstock to be slightly smaller than the face of the card. I crimped the Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the base card. I then punch 2 Scallop Circles from a piece of Candy Land DSP and then cut them in half. I placed them to one side and used the Ovals Die to make a series of ovals in Whisper White and Blushing Bride cardstock. I joined two ovals and the trimmed scallop circles and adhered it to the base card. I then used the Floral Fusion Sizzlit die with a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock. I followed this with a piece of Whisper White cardstock and the Buttons #5 Sizzlit die. To make the flower, I folded the petals, then curled the petals until the paper separated. I joined the flowers together with mini glue dots and finished off the flower with one of the cut out buttons that I had tied with a piece of hemp twine. I then stamped one of the flowers from the Itty Bitty Stamp set, using Close to Cocoa and Blushing Bride. I then punched out the flowers using the Itty Bitty Circle Punch. Using the Boho Flower punch, I punched out a series of flowers using a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock. I adhered some of the small circles to the centre of the punched flowers and adhered them to the corners of the card. The remaining Itty Bitty Flowers I adhered to the outer edge of the White oval and finished off by adhering the flower I made earlier into the centre. To finish off the card, I stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment on Whisper White cardstock, which I then trimmed and backed it with a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock. I adhered the sentiment using dimensional.
