Just Add Ink have a sketch challenge this week. For this challenge I decided to make a birthday card for my daughter. Purple is her favourite colour and she loves the Itty Bitty punches and stamps. I started with a base card made from Perfect Plum cardstock. I then trimmed a piece of Cherry Cobbler patterns DSP and used the Top Notes die. With the left over scraps from Cherry Cobbler DSP, I punched out a few flowers using the Boho Flower punch and the Itty Bitty Four Petal Flower punch. I then took a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and used the Sizzix Oval Die to cut out the large oval. Using one of the embossing folders from the Provo Craft Winter Wonderland set, I partially embossed the outer edge of the large oval and set to one side. I then stamped the itty bitty flowers and hearts from the Itty Bitty stamp set using Chocolate Chip ink. I punched out the hearts using the Itty Bitty Circle punch and then punched out the flowers using the Itty Bitty Four Petal flower. I then trimmed the Cherry Cobbler Top Note and adhered it to the base card and then added a strip of Perfer Plum cardstock. I then adhered the embossed Oval and punched out flowers. For the centre of the Cherry Cobbler Itty Bitty four petal flowers, I adhere small circles that I had punched out with my Cropadile. I finished off the card by stamping the Birthday sentiment using Chocolate Chip Ink.
