It has been a while since my last post. This week I decided to participate in the Inkspiration Sketch Challenge. I used the sketch as a base to help me create a birthday card for my brother-in-law. His birthday was the other day but I havent had time to make a card or visit. I started with a base card made from Early Espresso. I then trimmed 3 pieces of Early Espresso cardstock. With two pieces of the trimmed Early Espresso, I used a paper crimper. With the base card and the remaining trimmed piece of Early Espresso cardstock, I used the jumbo Friendly Words roller and versamark. I then used the Starring You stamp set with Soft Suede ink and two pieces of scrap Crumb Cake cardstock. With one piece, I punched out the circle birthday sentiment, using the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. I added 4 small Early Espresso brads to the corners of the small stamped Early Espresso cardstock. I then adhered all the elements together to finish off the card. Hopefully my brother-in-law will like his card even though it’s late.
