Just Add Ink Challenge this week is a colour challenge. Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake(Kraft). For this challenge I decided to make a card and a small gift. For the card I started with a base card in Very Vanilla cardstock. I adhered a strip of real red cardstock and then a strip of Chocolate Chip cardstock, which I had punched with the Scallop border punch, to the base card. I then trimmed a piece of Crumb Cake(Kraft) cardstock which I embossed with the Swiss Dot embossing folder. I adhered the embossed Crumb Cake to the base card and then stamped the birthday greeting from the Happy Moments stamp set using Chocolate Chip ink. With a Fiskars Oval template, I traced out a large oval which I then cut out using a pair of scissors. I stamped the large oval with one of the stamps from the Vintage Vogue stamp set using Chocolate Chip ink and adhered to the centre of the card. I then punched out three flowers using the new stampin up punch and a scrap piece of Holiday Treasures DSP. I punched out a Chocolate Chip flower and 3 more flowers using Real Red cardstock. With the punched flowers, I trimmed them and then shaped them to form two flowers. With the DSP flower, I used Chocolate chip in the centre to add a bit of contrast. I adhered the DSP flower to the centre of the oval, to finish off the card. For the gift, I started by trimming a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. I stamped the edges of the Very Vanilla cardstock with the border stamp from the Vintage Vogue stampset using Chocolate chip ink. I then added a strip of Chocolate Chip cardstock and a piece of Crumb Cake(Kraft) cardstock. To finished off the soap gift I attached the 2nd flower I made.
