This week Makeesha has an Inspiration challenge and Just Add Ink have a sketch challenge. I decided to combine the two challenges, as I thought the colours and sketch would work nicely together. I started with a standard card made from Chocolate Chip cardstock. I copied one of the images from the Organic Outline stamp set in the current catalogue, using a pencil and a scrap piece of textured cream coloured cardstock. To cut out the drawn main image, I used a Fiskars cutting knife. To replicate the dots I used the cropadile to punch out some circles. I trimmed the textured cream cardstock and placed it to one side. I then trimmed a piece of textured camel coloured cardstock and adhered the textured cream cardstock on top, so that the camel cardstock would show through where I removed the main image and the dots. I then stamped the Birthday Wishes from the Sincere Salutation stamp set using Chocolate Chip ink. I then adhered a 1/4″ Chocolate Chip ribbon to the bottom of the camel and cream cardstock. I then placed a small very vanilla grommet on to the ribbon and tied a knot. To finish off, I adhered the textured camel cardstock to the chocolate chip cardstock. There you have my take on both of these challenges.
