ICSketches‘s sponsor this week is PaperMom. The owner Cassandra, is offering the winner of this challenge 3 Free Digital Images of the winners choice. All you have to do is complete the challenge using the sketch above. For this sketch I started with a standard card made from Chocolate Chip cardstock. I then trimmed a piece of Whisper White cardstock 1/2 cm smaller than the face of the base card. I embossed the Whisper White with the Swiss Dot embossing folder. I then trimmed a piece of Bella Rose DSP to be 3/4 of a cm smaller than the Whisper White card stock. Followed by trimming a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock for the band across the card. I adhered the embossed Whisper White cardstock to the Chocolate Chip base, followed by the Bella Rose DSP and Chocolate Chip band. I placed the card to one side and trimmed the final piece of Whisper White cardstock where I was going to stamp my images and sentiment. I stamped the smallest piece of Whisper White using Riding Hood Red ink and the flower stamps from the Looks Like Spring stamp set. I then stamped the Birthday sentiment from the Sincere Salutations stamp set, using Chocolate Chip ink. I also stamped some extra flowers on a scrap piece of Whisper White and punched these out using the Spring Bouquet Punch, as well as punching out some flowers from the Bella Rose DSP and a piece of unstamped Whisper White. Using white brads, I adhered two of the punched flowers from the Bella Rose DSP to the card, followed by a red daisy flower that I attached to the centre of the large daisy. I trimmed one of the stamped flowers and adhered it to the left hand side of the cardstock opposite to the Birthday sentiments. I then attached the stamped card to the base card. Using the Scallop Circle punch, I punched out two scallop circles, one from Real Red cardstock and one from Bella Rose DSP. I cut the scalloped flowers every second scallop to form petals. I folded these petals in half to add some extra depth to the flower. I finished off the flower with a white punch Daisy and a green button. I stitched the button through the layers of the flower and attached with foam pads. I then took two punched daisy flowers, one from Whisper White cardstock and the other a stamped daisy and attached the flowers together using a red brad. Then I slightly offset the white flower so you could see the white petals between the red petals and adhered it to the card.
