Just Add Ink has a sketch Challenge this week. When I saw the sketch it made think of my Mostly Flowers stamp set. This is one of my favourite stamp set which I bought a few months ago from a Stampin Up demonstrator selling off some of her stamps, because she was making way for new stamps. The sketch has allowed me to create a simple design using black and white which I think has come out effectively. I used black card stock and then layered on a piece of whisper white card that I had put through the cuttlebug, using the divine swirl embossing folder. I used one of the stamps from the Mostly Flowers stamp set and stamped the image 3 times using black ink. I cut around the stamped images and put them to one side while I cut some black and silver ribbon that I bought from the Reject Shop. I used sticky strip to adhere the ribbon to the card and then I adhered the 3 stamped images to the ribbon. I finished off the stamped images with 3 small rhinestone, one for each image. I then placed the birthday greeting from Sincere Salutations which I stamped with Black ink on whisper white cardstock and punched out with the large oval punch. I punched a piece of black cardstock with the scalloped oval punch and layered it behind the Birthday greeting. I used foam pads to raise the birthday greeting off the card. I finished off with a rhinestone for the dot over the letter ‘i’.
