This is the Birthday Card and Treat Bag holder I made for my sister. Her birthday is still in a few weeks time but I wanted to see what I could come up with using baking paper. I found the technique when looking at Mel Stamps website http://melstampz.blogspot.com/2009/01/sweet-new-lps-set-and-wax-paper-fresco.html.
I glued some crushed baking paper to some cream card stock and then put it through the Cuttlebug, using the Devine Swirl folder. I then used three different inks to distress the embossed image, the ink colours I used were Narcissus, Creamy Carmel and Close to Cocoa. I then layered some complimenting card colours and used a combination of Grant and Stampin Up stamps. I also made a matching Treat Bag Cover that was demonstrated on Splitcoast stampers http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/treatbagcover/.
